FishNet Security, the nation's largest Information Security Solutions Provider, today announced the release of advanced device utilities to its Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) customers in an application portal. The portal, which gives customers visibility into behavior of their network devices in real-time and with easy access to other Managed Security Service Provider features, is part of the company's ongoing efforts to help customers improve their security posture.

The portal's utilities include high-level network analysis reports and device-level reports on current security policies and policy changes. The reports are provided directly to the customer, giving them real-time status monitoring of their managed systems. Additionally, customers can submit tickets to the Managed Security Service Provider group when changes must be made. The integration of workflow ticketing with visibility to real-time network data in a single Web application delivers the change control process that Fish and his team envisioned for their customers.

Security professionals from FishNet Security teamed up with security software developers from another Kansas City-based company, Secure Passage, to implement a few of the portal's key pieces: retrieval, analysis and delivery of real-time network device data.
