Proventia Desktop
Proventia Desktop performs real-time protection against malicious activity by analyzing application and network (including VPN) behavior on desktops. With firewall, intrusion protection and application protection, Proventia Desktop intelligently and unobtrusively blocks improper activity and reports to SiteProtector for centralized management and analysis.
Course Description
The Proventia Desktop training course introduces concepts, frameworks, methodologies and strategies that are effective in successfully using both the Proventia Desktop and SiteProtector products. The course focuses on hands-on training supported by slide presentations, demonstrations and lecture. The course starts with a general product overview. After gaining an understanding of Proventia Desktop and how it works to secure a system, students install and configure the SiteProtector console and manage the agent through this console. Students learn about the Agent Manager, Groups and Policies, then run and analyze reports.
