VPN-1/FireWall-1 VSX Management
This course offers in depth training on deploying and managing Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1 VSX. Students will learn to configure security policies for multiple customers that will be enforced on a single gateway using the Multi-Domain Graphical User Interface (MDG). Students will also learn how to deploy a VSX Gateway in a VLAN-enabled environment and how to configure VSX Gateway High Availability.
Who should take this class
Systems administrators, security managers and network engineers implementing VSX in an enterprise setting, and individuals challenging exam 156-811. Please note that exams 156-810 and 156-811 are required to achieve the Check Point Certified Managed Service Expert Plus VSX (CCMSE Plus VSX) certification.

About the labs
In the labs, you will gain hands-on experience in:
- Installing and configuring VSX components with Provider-1 NG management solution (MDS, MDG, CMAs, VSX Gateway, Virtual Systems, Virtual Routers)
- Setting up the VSX Gateway as the Network Operating Center (NOC) firewall to protect the MDS
- Configuring the Management Virtual System and the External Router on the VSX Gateway
- Installing multiple Security Policies protecting unique networks behind the VSX Gateway Implementing VLANs with the VSX Gateway
- Configuring a secondary VSX Gateway for High Availability
