This course offers in depth training on deploying and managing Check Point Provider-1 NG. Students will learn to configure security policies for multiple VPN-1/FireWall-1 NG gateways using the Multi-Domain Graphical User Interface (MDG), and manage multiple firewalled networks using the Multi Domain Server (MDS).

Who Should Take This Class

Systems administrators, security managers and network engineers implementing Provider-1 NG in an enterprise setting, and individuals challenging exam 156-810. Please note that exam 156-810 is required to achieve the Check Point Certified Managed Security Expert (CCMSE) certification.

  • Setting up firewall- to-firewall IKE encryption from the MDG
  • Licensing remote modules
  • Creating and distributing global policies
  • Configuring a second MDS for High Availability
  • Migrating a Remote Management Server
  • Archiving and restoring files on the MDS
