Prerequisites

  • The required prerequisite for taking the CWAP exam is passing the CWNA exam

The CWAP certified individual will be able to confidently analyze and troubleshoot any wireless LAN system using any of the market leading software and hardware analysis tools.

The CWAP (Certified Wireless Analysis Professional) certification is an advanced wireless LAN certification, focusing entirely on the analysis and troubleshooting of wireless LAN systems. The CWAP learning objectives begin with the frame structures and exchange processes for each of the 802.11 series of standards, and then apply that base of knowledge to how and when to use the tools that are available for analyzing and troubleshooting today's wireless LANs.

Certification

The CWAP exam number will be PW0-205. The exam will consist of 60 questions, and require 70% as a passing grade. Instructors must pass the CWAP exam with a score of at least 80%.

Candidates will have 120 minutes to complete the CWAP exam. Candidates are allowed to mark questions for review, but are not allowed to go back and change answers. Candidates are allowed and encouraged to comment on questions if time permits.
